IPM: Ester of isopropyl alcohol and myristic acid Low viscosity fluid non-greasy emollient, tolerates wide pH range, compatible with most surfactants. Due to its low viscosity and density, it has a high spreadability. Water-insoluble, but soluble with silicones, and hydrocarbons.
Application:
- Produce creams and emulsions skin protective
- IPM is used as an emollient in cosmetics, lotions, creams, and serums
- It is moisturizer with polar characteristics used in cosmetics and topical pharmaceutical Preparations
